The Village is a community-led CIC in Bury St. Edmunds bringing people together to support, inspire and empower one another. From children's activities to mental health support and practical help at home, we believe that when we share our skills, time and kindness, we all grow stronger.

A fun, inclusive group for children aged 5-11, offering sports, arts & crafts, games and social time. We create a space where children can explore, play, and make friends in a safe and supportive environment.

Focusing on mental health, wellbeing, and holistic healing. The Village Souls offers opportunities to connect with nature, explore mindfulness, and take part in activities that nurture body, mind, and spirit.

Sometimes, a little help makes a big difference. The Village at Home offers befriending support with 1:1 time to sit and talk in your home, going out for a walk around the local area and telephone support, helping people stay connected.

A cosy wellbeing and connection session coming this Christmas: warm drinks, gentle chats, mindfulness, and space to breathe.

The festive season can be magical… and a little overwhelming. That’s why The Village Souls are creating something gentle, friendly, and calm to help us all pause before the chaos hits. Introducing Tea & Talk — our very first wellbeing session, coming this Christmas (date and time to be confirmed). It’s all about connection, comfort, and giving yourself a moment to slow down.

Here’s what we’ll have ready for you:
Tea, warmth, and kind faces
🗣️ Conversation starters for anyone who fancies a chat
🧘 A mindfulness corner for those who’d rather decompress quietly
💜 Gratitude & worry jars — a place to drop off the thoughts you’re ready to release
📄 Signposting leaflets for support, ideas, and resources There’s no pressure to talk, share, or join in — you can do as much or as little as you like. Just come as you are. A little calm. A little connection. A little reminder that you're not doing life alone.

More details coming soon — keep an eye out for the confirmed date and time.
